Title Searching

Online information has common access points called fields.  Every Internet page consists of fields such as title, domain, host, URL, and link.  For a precise and successful search, use a strategy that combines one of these fields with phrase searching and Boolean logic.

Examples:

The examples above tell the search engine to retrieve sites where the phrase "John F. Kennedy" appears in the title of the site and the words President and Jacqueline appear somewhere on the page. In the second command, the same search terms appear in the text.

Caution: There is no space between the colon (:) and the keyword.
