1. EBSCO Host – 3,100 periodicals – 350 are full-text . Also available from home. E-mail capability for articles. Don't forget to click the full-text box before entering your search terms.
2. SIRS articles from newspapers and magazines – all are full-text. Available from home. E-mail capability for articles.
3. Britannica – excellent overview of region + relevant Internet sites
4. * Countrywatch.Com - the best source to try first – contains several current events articles about every country in the world plus information from the CIA , US Census, UN and World Bank. Use the drop-down menu and select a country that you are interested in.
 

To use from home – type http://www.ncslibrary.org . Click on the Home Access link. At the username prompt, type in the word <student>. At the password prompt, type in the word e@gle. A list of all the databases with each username and password will appear. Print it out. Keep it at home. Click on each database that you would like to use and type in the correct username and password that corresponds to that database.
