EBSCO HOST General periodicals database that contains either the citations or full-text articles from many marine biology-related periodicals.
PROQUEST DIRECT Provides the full-text articles of the last 90 days of the New York Times and 2 years of the Washington Post
CQ LIBRARY Contains full-text, in depth articles about topics that have governmental/political implications. A keyword search using the word marine resulted in articles about “marine mammals”, threatened coastlines and oil spills.
SIRS Outstanding full-text database of thousands of articles from periodicals, newspapers, journals and government reports. This database has an emphasis on the physical sciences.
