Consult the following Internet sites and online databases for general and specific information about the issue you have chosen to research. All information can be accessed on campus and remotely from the NCS Upper School Library homepage.

Eagle Eyes – NCS Web Library – In the keyword search box, type in the words < global ethics > for a list of relevant sites.

CQ Researcher – In the Quick Search box , type in relevant search terms. Example <child labor>, <sweatshops>, <global warming>, or <refugees>. Click on the resulting article(s) that lists the highest score for you search terms.

Ebsco Host – In the Find: box, type in relevant search terms. Example <child labor and sweatshops>. In the Limit Your Results : area, click once in the box Full Text . Click on overview articles first.

Lexis Nexis – Click on < News > and then on the word < General >. In the keyword search box, type in relevant search terms. Example <child labor>, <global warming>, <refugees>. In the Publication Title box, type in either the New York Times or Washington Post and click on search. Return to the Lexis Nexis homepage and click on Statistics. In the keyword search box, type in relevant search terms. Example <refugees>. Click on Search.

SIRS - Select the Quick Search mode. Type in relevant search terms. Example <sweatshops and child labor>. Scroll through results and choose articles that present an overview of the topic.
